| UV Blue FilterRight
120mm filter from
Jab-Tech. |
| |
 |
| This filter is an excellent filter and is the only
filter of the three to include Fan screws in its
package. It is UV Reactive and glows a pleasant
Blue when subjected to UV light. |
| |
 |
| The filter grill is domed and of a fine mesh. |
| |
 |
| The shape of this filter is round rather than
square, and has extensions at the corners to enable
mounting onto the case. Since it is round the
filter shall not cover the entire fan, just the
important intake part. |
| |
 |
| A great feature about this filter is its 2 part
design. The mesh grill can be removed from the
filter base for easy cleaning. One does not need
to remove the entire filter from the fan or case, just
the mesh part. It is a superior design compared to
the other Filters reviewed. |
| |
 |
| Here is a picture of the mesh grill removed from the
filter base. |
| |
 |
| The screws supplied are quite long and were suitable
for mounting in .25" thick acrylic with room to spare. |
| |
 |
| As you can see the Filter does not cover the entire
fan behind a see through case. We viewed the
results as less than optimal. |
| |
 |
| Here is the Filter on a Black case fan. |
| |
 |
| And a final photo. Looks better on Black than
Orange but still shows the fan behind the filter when
using a see through case. |
