| Conclusion |
| |
| Adding Filters to a cases fans can provide a nice
finishing touch to the looks of a case. In
addition the fan Filters provide the useful function of
reducing the amount of dust which enters the computer. |
| |
| We found all three 120mm filters reviewed to be both
useful and pleasing to the eye. |
| |
| On the down side, each filter significantly reduces
the amount of air flowing through the fan. They
all have a fine mesh and can block a large portion of
the wind. |
| |
| While we viewed the UV Blue filter as having a
superior 2 part design, we did not like the fact that we
could see more of the fan behind the filter due to its
round shape. This should not be an issue with a
non-clear case. |
| |
| Our favorite Filter turned out to be the Silver
Steel Mesh Filter from Directron. We chose to use
it on the front of our case. |
| |
| We would like to thank
Mountain Mods,
Jab-Tech, and
Directron for supplying us with the Fan Filters for
review. |
