| With a suggested retail price of
$101, I expect the V-Moda Vibe Modaphones to last
years. I have a sneaky suspicion that, with the hard,
daily use I require of them, they might only last 6-8
months since they are already showing signs of wear. |

| The fit is great, when they stay in
my ears. One of my hesitations to paying the hefty
retail fee would be my knowing they may not stay in my
ears well. Otherwise, I’d give them two thumbs up.
Without having tested them, I may have been very
disappointed with their continued slipping out of my
ear. For that amount of money, I’d like them to stay
in my ear until I decide to remove them. The one-piece
earbuds I’ve used in the past are far less money,
have less sound quality, but they stay put. |

| The sound quality of the V-Moda Vibe
Modaphones is excellent. I’ve never enjoyed such
rich aural texture in a headset up to now. |

| Would I recommend purchasing the
V-Moda Vibe Modaphones? I’d suggest weighing the
factors. Which is most important to me? Do I require
excellent sound in both loud and quiet environments?
Or, is it more important that they stay exactly where
I put them regardless of my activity level? How hard
will I wear them? Would I be willing to part with $101
for headphones that may last a year or less? |

| For me, I’m in love with the sound
quality, but I’d rather see them priced more
reasonably. At $101, the possibly questionable
durability and the annoyance of their slipping from my
ears would prevent me from making this purchase. If
they were $30 or $40, I would be more willing to
purchase them for a year of enjoyment before replacing
them. |
